Young scientists of VNIIFTRI were awarded the prize of the Governor of the Moscow region
Moscow Region, February 09, 2024 – On the Day of Russian Science, February 8, an award ceremony was held for the laureates of the prize of the Governor of the Moscow region in the fields of science, technology, engineering and innovation for young scientists and specialists. The team of young scientists of the Russian Metrological Institute of Technical Physics and Radio Engineering (VNIIFTRI) of Rosstandart was awarded the prize for the work "Field complex of operational high-precision gravimetric measurements". The prizes were presented to talented scientists by the Deputy Chairman of the regional government, Minister of Investments Ekaterina Zinovieva.
"It's nice when your work is highly appreciated not only by the management, but also at the regional level. This not only confirms the importance and prospects of the development, but also gives impetus to further development," said Murat Murzabekov, one of the laureates, head of the laboratory of metrological support for on–board geomagnetic measurement complexes of the FSUE “VNIIFTRI”.
The joint work of scientists "Field complex of operational high–precision gravimetric measurements" is devoted to promising gravimetric instruments - a high-precision relative gravimeter and an astronomical plumb-line deviation meter, which were developed at the Institute.
The winners of the prize are: Murat Murzabekov, Head of the Laboratory for Metrological Support of Onboard Geomagnetic Measurement Complexes, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Ruslan Davlatov, Head of the Laboratory for Metrological Support of Space Gravimetry, and Vladislav Lopatin, a Junior Researcher of the Laboratory.
The Governor's Prize is awarded annually to young scientists, specialists and scientific and technical staff for scientific and technical achievements and their practical application in accordance with the priority for the Moscow region directions for the development of science, technology and engineering. The work of specialists must be innovative, and the results must be achieved and published within a period not exceeding five years before the year of nomination of the applicant or the team of applicants
