VNIIFTRI at the conference «LaPlaz-2024»

Moscow region, March 26 – Scientists of the Russian Metrological Institute of Technical Physics and Radio Engineering (VNIIFTRI) of Rosstandart take part in the X International Conference "Laser, Plasma research and Technologies - LaPlaz-2024". The conference takes place in March 26-29 at the National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI".

 "The use of laser technologies in measuring systems provides high accuracy and controllability of processes during research. The reports presented at the conference by VNIIFTRI specialists largely reflect our experience in developing, improving and applying these technologies in the interests of both fundamental and applied research," said Vyacheslav Fedotov, Head of the Main Metrological Center of the State Service of Time and Frequency of the FSUE “VNIIFTRI”.

 The work of the LaPlaz-2024 conference is divided into 10 thematic sections, at which such issues as laser, plasma and radiation technologies in industry, energy, medicine; photonics, quantum metrology, optical information processing; new functional materials, meta-materials, "smart" alloys and quantum systems; super-strong optical fields, powerful lasers, Mega Science installations and a number of others will be discussed.

 The materials of the reports will be published in the proceedings of the conference, indexed in the RSCI. The reports selected on the recommendation of the program committee will be sent for publication in peer-reviewed journals included in the citation databases Scopus, Web of Sciences, RSCI.

 The conference "Laser, Plasma research and Technologies - LaPlaz" is a platform for both masters of science who have the opportunity to discuss modern scientific problems, and for young researchers and specialists who adopt the experience of leading specialists and scientists.
