VNIIFTRI scientists awarded with state awards

MOSCOW REGION December 30, 2020 - By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, VNIIFTRI scientists were awarded second-class medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland for their great contribution to the development of science and many years of conscientious work on the creation of precision measuring equipment.

The following persons have been officially rewarded:

• Vyacheslav Fedotov, Deputy Head of NIO-8 for science work;
• Sergey Slyusarev, Head of the Research Center for Quantum Metrology;
• Yuri Domnin, Chief Researcher of the Center for the Development of Fountain-Type Frequency Standards;
• Sergey Kolotygin, Head of the Laboratory for Energy Flux Density Measurements;
• Igor Blinov, Deputy General Director - Head of the Main Metrological Center of the State Service of Time and Frequency.
• Sergey Donchenko, General Director of VNIIFTRI.

In a solemn ceremony the Head of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulating and Metrology Anton Shalaev presented medals of the order and congratulated the awardees.
