Innovation projects
One of the most important achievements in VNIIFTRI work in 2005-2006 was creation of cesium frequency standard operational prototype based on atom laser cooling – “Fontan”. For the first time, the up-to-date laser technology for atom cooling was mastered in Russia, and Ramcy oscillation with resonance width » 1Hz at cesium atom cooling up to level of approximately » 1 ms was achieved.
In the field of acoustic and hydro-acoustic measurements, in 2005 the State special standard GET 169-2005 of ultrasound power unit in water in the range from 0.5 to 12.0 MHz with measurement range from 5 mW to 12 W and the State standard R 8.616-2006 “SSM. State verifying layout for measuring means for ultrasound power measurement in water in frequency range from 0.5 to 12 MHz” were approved and put into operation.
In the field of radio engineering, electric and magnetic measurements, in 2005 was completed development of the State primary standard GET 167-2005 of electromagnetic oscillation power unit in frequency range from 37.5 to 53.57 GHz. The standard was approved also in 2005. This standard is one of the elements of the system of radio-electronics metrological assurance during development, production and use of equipment for radiolocation, radio navigation, communication and for radio-electronic armament systems.
Together with operating State standard of electromagnetic oscillation power GET 26-94 and secondary standards VET 26-2-02 and VET 46-1-93, which are compared at adjacent frequencies with the State standards, this standard provides verification of working standards and solution of the other problems in the wide range of frequencies from 0.03 to 78.3 GHz for wave and coaxial duct.
In the field of ionizing radiation and radioactivity, in 2005-2006, standardized means complex was created for photon and electron radiation absorbed dose measurement.
In the field of applied acousto-optics and laser spectroscopy, in 2005-2006, a number of results was obtained during mastering of new measuring technologies in instrument engineering. According to recent theoretical developments and experimental investigations, new diminutive layout of double monochromator creation was proposed on the basis of unorthodox acousto-optical filter of high resolution. Compact optical layout of acousto-optical spectrometer with contrast high resolution and optical signal processing method were proposed; it made it possible to create a number of spectrometric devices with unique properties.
Work package was carried out, which was directed to realization of some critical technologies in priority directions in the field of physicochemical measurements.
“Lining systems”, “Ecology and efficient nature use” (“Environment monitoring”, “Nature conservation technologies, recycling and disposal of anthropogenic formations and waste”).
In 2007, the State primary standard of pX ion activity indices in aqueous solutions, GET 171-2007, was approved. Such a standard was created for the first time. Its technical and metrological characteristics correspond to the level of achievements of the leading countries in this field. Standard development was caused by necessity to improve ecological control systems and the systems of technological processes management in chemical, pharmaceutical, microbiological, electronic and the other branches of industry.
In 2006, granulometric self-contained small-sized express-analyzer MAK-019 was developed, which is intended for engine fuel purity determination according to State standard 52386-2005 (EN 590:2004). It was tested in order to approve the type and to introduce into the State register of measuring means. This device was passed to the customer (JSC “Production group “Modern technologies””). Engineering solutions realized in this development enable to expand the sphere of calibration work on standard GET 163-2003.
In 2007,
High accuracy plant for reproduction of sound speed unit in liquids, UVT 90-A-2007, was approved instead of UVT 90—96, which had been used for distilled water only. In the course of the work, UVT certification technique was improved, sound speed measurement range, temperature conditions and used liquids nomenclature were expanded. UVT use range: solution of naval problems. Solution of the problems of a number of industry branches where sound speed may serve as informative index for parameters control and liquid quality determination.
