Organizational structure

FSUE “VNIIFTRI” is a National Metrological Institute of Russia subordinated to Federal Agency on technical regulation and metrology; it has the status of the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation and is one of the main Centers of the State standards of Russia.

VNIIFTRI is:

• the State center of measuring means testing for type approval;
• center of verification and calibration of wide range of nomenclature of means and measurements;
• accrediting body in the Russian calibration system;
• testing laboratory for certification tests of technical means for compliance with standards requirements on safety parameters and electromagnetic compatibility;
• testing laboratory of explosion-proof measuring means, control, and automation machinery elements;
• medical equipment testing center.
