VNIIFTRI will produce high-precision radioelectronic equipment

Moscow Region, May 18, 2023 – The Center for the Development and Implementation of Cutting-Edge Technologies (TsRiVPT) was established on the basis of the Russian Metrological Institute of Technical Physics and Radio Engineering (VNIIFTRI) of Rosstandart. The center will provide a full cycle of development and production of modern high-precision measuring equipment and will contribute to the development of Russia's technological sovereignty in the field of modern measuring instruments.

 "VNIIFTRI is one of the leading scientific metrological institutes in Russia. In the course of fundamental and applied scientific research and work on the creation of world-class state standards, the Institute's specialists have accumulated extensive experience, based on which the Center conducts a number of works on development of precision measuring instruments and adoption of cutting-edge technologies to increase the efficiency of their full-scale production and reduce cost," said Deputy General Director of FSUE VNIIFTRI for radio engineering measurements, Ivan Malay.

 Currently, at TsRiVPT VNIIFTRI projects for developing a set of high-frequency radio engineering measuring instruments and precision equipment for measuring time and frequency: time interval meters, distribution amplifiers, frequency meters, quantum frequency standards and others are underway.

 A separate activity area of the Center is the development and full-scale production of miniature quantum frequency standards widely used in such areas as navigation, unmanned vehicles, and new generation telecommunications networks.

"In the near future, the work of the micromechanics and integrated circuit engineering section will be launched. This will allow us to explore new approaches in the course of developing promising products and organize domestic full-scale high-tech production of integrated components of measuring instruments," said Stanislav Gusev, Head of the TsRiVPT.

Today, the Center employs more than 50 highly qualified specialists: programmers, designers, technologists. Work is constantly underway to attract both professional developers and young specialists.
